Rebecca van Leeuwen – Primary school teacher Dutch for Kids

As a child, I knew I wanted to become a teacher later. I studied at the Pabo University in Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, I have gained much experience with students who learn Dutch as a second language.

After my studies, I started working as a group teacher of group 4 in Rotterdam. As a group teacher, I enjoyed the individual moments with students the most.

In these moments, I really found out about the talents, interests, humor, and personality of a student. This relationship with the students is what makes the work fun for me!

After traveling through Southeast Asia for six months, I now do what I love to do at Dutch for Kids: teaching the individual child. I look forward to growing, developing, and enjoying learning together!
