Dutch for Kids in Antwerp

Dutch for Kids is available for children all over the world. From America to Australia, and from Asia to South America. Still, we notice that some cities are especially popular.

One of those cities is Antwerp.

We teach many Dutch lessons to children from (or around) Antwerp. This is often because Belgian families have lived abroad for a period of time and later return to Belgium. At home, these children usually speak Dutch, but they need extra support to smoothly re-enter a Dutch-language primary school.

And of course, we are more than happy to help with that.

Recently, we supported a Belgian family with two boys and a girl. Both parents spoke Dutch at home with their children, so their speaking skills were already strong. During the lessons, we mainly focused on:

• flexibility in themes and examples

For example, King’s Day is a typical Dutch celebration and less relevant when you live in Antwerp. In those cases, we choose topics that better fit the Belgian context, so the lessons stay relatable and enjoyable for your child.
